You are correct, Barakas wholly owned company West Africa Energy and Minerals has the rights to Petroleum and MINERALS in Mali, this fact has been largly overlooked by most, could be even larger than the petroleum aspect.
Baraka will be in many Joint enture operations, a few months ago Max addressed a minerals conference informing them of the situation.
