I disagree , part of running a mine is making sure the locals are content go to the bottom of Mindinau and it is because of poor relationships that one big Nickel mine still has not got off the ground. Plenty of mines all over the world have been shut down due to arrogant mining companies not prepared to listen to locals , while successful ones tend to work with all the actors.
