It does appear to be a sign of the times. What breeds these sort of actions I do not know. I know nothing of the facts re this case, and yes you would have hoped that someone / some people could have stepped in to help or stop this from happening. But the way the world and legal system works these days you would have been the only one out of this whole sorry story that would have ended up in jail, for trying to do what you thought would have been the right and just thing to do, which is protecting a child from being beaten to death. This would be in the back of a lot of peoples minds faced with this type of situation and the reason it is, is because our of our bs legal system and our fearless leaders cowing down to bs minority groups full of people with very little idea of reality. If a couple of guys had been there and given this father and good beating with a couple of cricket bats and stopped this child from being beaten to death, and the father had lived, they to would be in jail with him. Its a very sad direction we are heading.
