The company I had shares in, have several rigs going at the same time. Labour costs would be lower in Chile.Someone pointed out why did the vendor sell when it is that good.?My answer is, not all companies made their money through looking for the commodities. The vendor that sold the previous tenements made their money by consolidating tenements and repackaged them for resale. Unless you have experience in Chile, you wouldn't be doing business there. Most importantly management is on the right track, that is engaging a team that can speak and understand the local lingo. In fact they should have a Chilean national manager to help manage all aspects in Chile. I never heard of any legislative or local problems which means the government is happy that foreign companies operate smoothly. This is going to be a big year for MAN and an exciting one too.
