Chile is OK as a counter party with respect to political/country risk. There are a few issues , for instance regarding disputes, and that could be why MAN is seeking to resolve any such issues before commitment.
As investors there is nothing better than right here at home, but often the opportunity is too good to miss and is worth a small extra country risk.
