Yes, yes, but you're reading the Bible, who else did you think was going to get a big thumbs up to? Jesus of course and in the OT it's mostly the figure who returns like Jesus, the Messiah that the Jews are still awaiting, the Comforter.
Read the Hindu scriptures and guess who gets the big thumbs up, you got it, Krishna.
Read the Baha'i scriptures and who gets the big wraps, yes, you get it now don't you, Baha'u'llah.
And the other religion's scriptures do the same. Christianity is a wonderful religion, but it is not special, or at least not any more special that other religions, it is not some singular path to God and you can only begin to realise this when you step outside of the straightjacket of belief and see that this God you love and venerate has not left anybody behind, apart from those who become religious apparently.
