Man Dies After Fall From London Citigroup Building, Police Say July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Inc. in the London financial district of Canary Wharf, Scotland Yard police said today.
The man, believed to be in his mid-20s, was confirmed dead at the scene, a Scotland Yard spokeswoman said in a telephone interview. He has yet to be identified, she said.
``At about 14:14 a man was seen to fall from a balcony within the Citigroup building,'' she said, adding that some exits of the 16-storey building in the east of London has been cordoned off. Citigroup spokeswoman Lindsey Deans said all enquiries are being redirected to the police.
