    should people be able to say whatever they like about anyone else publicly ie slander them? What would stop blatant lies being told?

    Do you think we live in a free country anyway?

    What exactly are you 'free' to do?

    Smoke and drink where you like?
    Drive at what speed you consider safe?
    Free to own your own home but then be forced to sell because rates are so high you can't afford them?

    I think we have more and more controls foisted upon us to 'protect' us however we are losing our freedom along the way.

    Still the lucky country but free?

    having more freedom than some other countries makes us more fortunate but doesn't make us free imo.

    But as I say...probably best for another thread :)
