    I agree It is a sad fact of life that there is racial hatred in this world. The question of what to do about it is another thing. Should we restrict freedom of speech of the citizens to accommodate others? If so then how do we deal with the resentment caused? Does that even work? You can't make people like each other or respect each other.
    The other issue is that of racial discrimination separate to racial hatred. I know that many conflate the terms, but I think that they are separate issues. It is human nature to prefer one's own kind(without necessarily hating anyone else),
    so why make laws against it? As far as racial discrimination goes I doubt that there is anywhere in the world that is free from it. Australia would have to be quite far down the list of discriminatory countries, for real racism go to Asia or the Middle East.
