Watso the rain has been flooding the deserts here in Aus. Kati Thanda (Lake Eyre) has been wet almost continually since the rains began in 2020. Normally Kati Thanda floods only 2-3 times in a century! This is an area of desert.

meanwhile India and other parts of the northern hemisphere have been getting hotter and drier weather than we in Aus had in the lead up to the 2019 drought and bushfires when we had temperatures up to 50^oC - on the coast!. the Northern hemisphere temperatures have exceeded this.

Morrison says we have reduced our GHG emissions to 20% from 2005 levels. But the Gillard Carbon Price caused emissions to fall to a low of 21% by 2014 until Abbott abolished the carbon price (and installed a closet carbon price in the ERF) whereupon the GHG emissions rose back to around 12% reduction from '05 level.

Emissions started to slowly fall again under Turnbull and the gradual increase of industrial transition to reduce GHG emissions, State emissions reduction imposts and local council and water board introduction of methane capture and use to generate electricity.

Since Morrison became PM there has been only ARENA and CEFC investment in industrial applications. Rooftop solar, which Morrison claims he made happen (lol), is an entirely State run project which Taylor and Morrison have struggled with.

So Damn Damn right Watso. the Libs and the Labs are fake news. they lie and will continue to lie as long as they can get away with lies.

How do think Lake Eyre came to be ?

Do you think all the low lying channels that feed it only came to be in the last few years?

Maybe - just maybe they were caused by constant repeated flooding over a long time.
