yep its an impressively produced show. But a man parachuted into a well-researched hostile environment for 2 or 3 days and nights doesn't stack up that well against that bloke who walked, while towing a sled, for months thru the Australian deserts - west to east and then south to north. With only his little dog for company - till it was killed by a snake. Heartbreaking to watch in all respects.
They are 2 different shows I know - but one is consumer driven and the other is real doco-adventure.
