A friend and I watched almost every episode almost religiously, and believe or not whilst he seems a bit out there, he actually has some great survival tips. Must admit that last show in Hawaii with the sharks was closest I think he's come to death. Other places he's been are pattagonia, Africa (where he ate a zebra raw and sqeezed water out of elephant poo), A desert where he dissected a camel and drunk the water in its stomach, Alaska where he took a bite out of a raw fish, and in Canada he built a bed in the tree tops to avoid the bears. I think he is ex special forces.
