Substantial holder notifications also need to be updated with every 1% increase in a holding from my reading

Let's say IMC start creeping and notify that they have just increased their holding by 3%, thereby potentially closing in on control via an unconventional takeover. What would you do? OK sell out but the SP would be way down. The creep is legal so nothing the company could do, I suppose they could confront the IMC board member and protest that IMC's intentions appears to have changed, but nothing wrong with changing an intention. The lower SP suits a TO predator, it makes for a cheaper creep and it's all downhill from there. I'm not saying that IMC will do this, only that it is a clear risk and one that is underestimated by management in my opinion.
