On the surface this is great news for long suffering CTO investors; new, experienced and talented men with fresh ideas, energy and discipline to assist the hapless board of arguably one of Australia's most disappointing gold miners.

Reading between the lines its a different story. One can be sure because of the incestuous nature of this company, that there would be no change as significant as this unless pressure was brought to bear on the globe trotting Managing Director. By extrapolation a company susceptible to such pressure is not in a healthy enough position to stand on their own two feet.

If production is indeed lifted last quarter as repeatedly promised throughout last year, the combination of news could do wonders for this tired old share price.
