IMO there is nothing like the good old L/Cruiser or the Prado if you want to drive around the country side in dirt roads/tracks, and especially around the paddocks, without any major concerns of breaking down. I have owned Patrols, Navara's, L/Rovers (I still own one and keep it in the shed as a memento), and others in my years, but I have stuck with L/Cruisers since I first tried one.
As for GBG, as you said, now that we have new management, let's hope that the rot has now finished and start looking forward to bigger and better things.
