IMHO MPO management and board is simply incompetent to unlock shale oil anywhere. We need expirienced JV partner for Permian basin - Approach or Petrohawk/BHP would be great - and expirienced JV partner for Bakken/Midale Sask. acreage or sell the whole company.

And what about MPO? They told us that the Wolfcamp is not homogenous and that variability of results should be expected across different parts of the play, and even across different parts of the same land block.

Another funny thing - they decided to focus on Wolfcamp and 150 boed ( from 1000) still originates from 3-5 Bakken wells, where MPO holds only 25-50% and rate of return was estimated about 6 months. But there MPO had a JV partner (Legacy) with technical skills, when and if MPO management could prove their skills, it was fiasco at Torquay Bakken, Estevan Bakken, Estevan Alida and Midale and finally at Fiesta Wolfcamp...
