The nasty nasty shorters would probably be far more aware that the actual rainfall in March is less than a quarter of what it was in February and therefore the wet has all but shut down. It's also been an unusually dry March with about half as much rain as you would normally expect on average. That says more than any prognostication ever could.

Anyways the more pertinent thing is the activity announcement. To a certain extent the weather doesn't matter as long as the forward plan is there given we're only talking about a few weeks either way and that's within the margin of "we're getting back to work and doing things soon".
