I know Rodds response to those claims would be that he and his family had 20 million shares donated to them to compensate for many years of unpaid R&D developing lumapanel and turning the family business into a public company.

Common sense and hindsight says that the product just didnt cut it. I spent considerable time and expense in trying to work out what independent experts thought of Lumapanel, including overseas phone calls to ex sales rep's etc, was very suprised to find that they didnt think the problem was with the product! They insisted the technology itself was quite good. But to this day, and it has been years, the two flagship Lumapanel signs in Turkey and New York have failed to attract an advertiser. I have never been able to find an explanation for that phenomenon.

It certainly seems that the company has abandoned Lumapanel in favour of a full service approach to the outdoor industry which it probably had to do. My own feeling is that until there is big $$$ to be made for current management this will just continue to flatline indefinately, with just enough cash spilled into it on occasions to keep its heart beating.
