CTP's daily reports suggest to me [as an old oil well driller] that they are very optimistic about the outcome of Blamore but are being cautious in what they say at this stage.
Their decision to have "intermediate logging" suggests to me that they are taking maximum care to thoroughly understand the important lower half of this well before they push ahead into it. The reaming referred to today was probably necessary to remove small movements in the rocks after the drill had penetrated; this made the logging more precise.
One cannot fail to feel very hopeful. Conix
