fundamentals have changed significantly. First being mine location in a state heavily invested in renewables.
the world is now going through a change towards moving away from coal. It should have happened earlier, and Australia is falling behind massively.
electrical design and load has changed significantly since ROY.
automation is 100 fold from 10 years ago. Electrical load has decreased by a third.
This has decreased the overall running costs of the money significantly.
Don’t ignore the fact that MGT, if they are to produce, would be in the lower end of costs per ton for production in the world.
