Response – We have said no such thing that TON will supply the graphite market for 100 years. We do have the ability to, however, and I can understand the jealousy of small graphite companies that do no have the ability and they hence try to taunt TON trying to make TON’s strength as something to be mocked at. I think it is a form of Tall poppy syndrome.

2) Now as you know I can be reputeded as being "incomprehensible' so bear with me as I try to put a quite complex 'Theory" together. @Jaded

Response – Yes, some basic sentence construction like that used by you in this post would be a good idea for other posts too, for them to be more comprehensible. I’ll admit that I had to read even this comment a couple of times to grasp yet, but I think I grasped most of it. Maybe, it is just me who is getting old and slow. I’ll also admit that it was also good to read a post from you with no subtle insults in it, for a change like calling TONners Pollyanna, rah rah, calling our comments piffle, prattle, etc. Thanks.

3) The Super Pits [produce 200kts+ 2017] can only get Offtakes for their 80kts++ out of China.[the Dragon] @Jaded

Response – Correction – SYR has only gotten offtakes for 80k tonnes.
TON is light years ahead in terms of not just offtakes but also vertical integration.

4) Offtakes historically and in the near Future [2020] out of the RoW [rest of world Nth America/Euro/Japan/Korea] have been for say 20/50kts Max] These were and are the size of Offtakes to Import from China. The 100year old Traditional Traders Asbury, Superior, SGL, Imerys and particularly AMG/GK do anything from 5kts to 10kts even 50tonne [no k 1000] as supply to END USERS. - @Jaded

Also please understand that TON’s vertical integration partner is fully into graphite already.

YXGC (Yichang Xincheng Graphite Co) is already a graphite products specialist. YXGC products are widely used in the fields of petroleum and chemical industry, steel refining, electric power, metallurgy, machinery, automobile, shipping building, pharmacy, aerospace industry, nuclear industry and, most significantly, a number of distinguished global electronic and technology companies.

TON’s JVs with YXGC are to develop and produce graphite enhanced products in Mozambique and China. The two JV companies, will source Triton Mozambique Graphite (TMG) graphite concentrate exclusively, to develop a wide range of high-value graphite enhanced products - high value expandable graphite, flexible graphite sheet, refined battery grade graphite and other enhanced graphite products, high strength graphite composite sheets, etc.

5) Do you follow Ozzie B ? Graphite is NOT a Commodity like IO or Uranium, it is END User "controlled" and Volume of 50kts goes thru Traders to Break up into 10kt lots to distribute to various End Users.

That Natural Flake Graphite is NOT a Commodity that one digs up and ships out is the Concept one must fully understand the ramifications of as an investor. - @Jaded

Response – TON never aimed to control the market and as @Rat1973 mentioned, I too have never read any such announcement. As Rat1973 mentioned What TON have announced is a clear, concise strategy with an existing graphite user which has communicated its need for TMG asap. As @Pauldola has summed up TON best - Clarity, Integrity and Credibility.

At the same time, I would add that ignoring a massive market like China makes zero sense for any company. No company would ignore the Chinese market

As discussed by me in point 13 of my AMG analysis, China is the dominating producer and consumer. AMG has clearly mentioned that China is also the dominating consumer. And this is where TON is leading so far. Like I mentioned earlier, no company can afford to ignore the Chinese market. As I said before, when anyone criticizes TON for their Chinese focus, it is hard to really take anything else they say seriously, when even AMG is calling China the dominant customer. You too admitted earlier that AMG is a respected company by calling it a 100 year old traditional trader.

7) Oz Every Industrial Country in the World has their Gov't declaring Graphite ONE of the Strategic/Critical "Elements". What they're talking about is for their Home Industries to have access to it for their OWN advancement into the New Age whatever of High Tech Industry.
The Graphite Sector outside of China is based on a desire/a need, a requirement for Import Replacement of getting Dragon Imports of raw graphite AND the processed AND the Industrial Finished Products using Natural Flake Graphite.

Do you follow? Supplying the Dragon is actually excellent for the smaller outfits, the Boutiques because their market is to the RoW End Users who "supposedly" under their own gov'ts directive, their own reasons for wanting Non Dragon Imports. Ozpolarbear the RoW [ my Barbarians] don't want to Import their Value Added Spherical for example from China, currently the Only spherical producer. -@Jaded

Once you are saying that TON supplying China is bad and now you are saying it is good…..and that too good, not for TON but for smaller companies. Sorry mate – just can’t understand.

I’m assuming that you are saying that Europe does not want to import China value added spherical.
As discussed many times before, through our vertical integration with YXGC, we have access to a huge Chinese market. We might not even need to sell anything outside of China.

Even as far as batteries are concerned, if the Tesla / BYD stuff takes off, demand in China will inevitably take off.

8) Anyhow hope you get some gist of my gero on Super Pits are Not a threat or worry to Boutiques. The worry/concern is if/when their concept is seen by the Market to falter/ hit snags whatever could put Graphite into the say the Rare Earth category. - @Jaded

Response - Smaller graphite companies will be hoping that TON and the super pits fail because the super pits are going to put pressure on the market price. It is as simple as that.
I cannot envision a scenario where the super pits fail and small companies survive.

Response – Please don’t speak for me. I only said that TON needs to learn from LMB’s mistakes. As can be seen from my above risk analysis (graphite oversupply, common pitfalls, etc.), I don’t believe that risk must be ignored. Companies must be aware of risk and do their DD, which I believe TON has done.

And that was not my 1st post. My very 1st post was on March 7

TON is still way ahead

SYR has never closed above 4.72 even once since my 1st analysis. It did touch 4.8 sometime back but then quickly fell immediately on same day. In fact the last time, SYR closed above 4.72 was 4.74 on September 12, 2014. So, I’ve actually been spot on, in my 1st analysis

Response – FMG was a Chinese centric company. So sorry, I just don’t buy this theory.But if that is the angle you want to play, then we always have other potential connections

Response – Well, don’t Chinese companies right now itself trade with the rest of world. Can’t believe we are actually having this conversation. If that is the angle you want to look at, then rest of World financed companies should be afraid that they can’t deal with China. Even AMG has called China the main customer.

Response - I myself post around 1 comment every odd day on a stock I do hold (TON) and have posted zero comments on the other graphite stocks I don't hold to maintain peace in the "troubled" graphite forums.. I’ve never understood why non holders would want more.
