CR are done for 2 maybe 3 reasons
1. Fund projects that will return future value
2. Help the company to stay alive
3. To line the pockets of directors and SI and other insiders
Two of these are negatives and one is a positive to shareholder value
The CR (if needed) here is for short term needs that will cashflow the company for a long long time.
