No conspiracy here, just bad luck. JH obviously believed the JW-1 ann. was going to be very positive, hence why he timed the SPP ann. to be released close to the flow test results.
Unfortunately, the test results were not what he was anticipating, BUT once he had them,he was obliged to release them to the market. If they had shown flows to the surface as many anticipated, no-one would have been questioning the timing.
Bottom line, the oil shows came from somewhere. There is oil down there, but they have more work to do to either locate and drill the reservoir or get JW-1 flowing to the surface.
As I said in another post, it is interesting contrasting what posters are writing about JH today and their views on the subject only a couple of weeks ago.
