Well i'm going to try and post a positive post regarding supply and demand regarding mobile connectivity as sp collapses.
Spectrum is finite,new technology is making various frequencies more efficient but in my fairly ignorant opinion that technology must have its limitations.
I'm the first to say i was not aware of the mmWave ghz spectrum ie 3.6 ,26 etc .And didn't understand the importance of its capabilities and its imperative use in a real 5g network as 5g is rolled out ie massive increase in capacity/bandwidth,connectivity reliability ,latency whatever and a reduced mobile connectivity cost for those telcos that invest in real mmWave 5g,but still it is a finite resource currently.
Now we must be getting close to the potential spectrum available as in up coming ghz (satellite) auctions a set amount has been put set aside for defence.
Then we have demand and a good example being the netflix effect,ie congestion due to over load of data causing those funny little swirling circles and as forecast massive data demand inreases relatively short term .ie tls will be able to provide mobile connectivity so their customers can watch the footy while tpg customers get to watch the little swirling circles.
So i don't believe supply will exceed demand/pricing in the future as spectrum is finite and those telcos that have bought the spectrum ,especially ghz will have a competitive advantage over 4g and tls will be able to maintain its customer base due to its ability to supply the bandwidth etc.
imo the techs know this as they develop new apps and services that have massive data demand,and at some stage various global telcos will be able to charge for that premium service/capability including tls global/domestic.
