Gold miners who have successfully outperformed have kept their AISC in the range of US$800-$900/oz and increased production profile.
For technology to run well, you need a good mine first.
Technology can deliver as per software design but it cannot make a bad mine into a good mine.
Although the sound of automation / innovation is good, but real delivery is good AISC number.
I am sure management is tyring very hard and hopefully board is satisfied that such level of performance meets shareholder expectation.
