Okay i admit that i'm going to come across as a miserable basta*rd for posting this but as an Aussie rules nut I've always wondered two things about Alex Ferguson- 1- He was very successful. But how much of that was because of his managerial ability and less about his access to ridiculous sums of money? How would he have gone managing say, Wigan, or Southampton.
2- He is living proof that wealth and success won't make you happy. I can't think of a more dour, miserable person in world sport. Always whingeing about the refs and the world in general.
