The Chinese have an awful lot to answer for!!! Thanks heaps...how long will it be before they re design another bat virus to let loose on us?

Asian highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) A(H5N1) virus occurs mainly in birds and is highly contagious among them. HPAI Asian H5N1 is especially deadly for poultry.
The virus was first detected in 1996 in geese in China. Asian H5N1 was first detected in humans in 1997 during a poultry outbreak in Hong Kong and has since been detected in poultry and wild birds in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Six countries are considered to be endemic for Asian HPAI H5N1 virus in poultry (Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam)

The 2002–2004 outbreak of SARS, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-1), infected over 8,000 people from 29 different countries and territories, and resulted in at least 774 deaths worldwide.[1]The outbreak was first identified in Foshan, Guangdong, China, in November 2002

human coronavirus 2019 (HCoV-19) First identified in the city of Wuhan, Hubei, China,

Charming isn't it...I wonder how many others there have been that didn't get out of China?
