As a mother of 3 young adults, I welcome any attempt towards creating a healthier society.
A lot of people are getting their knickers in a twist aren't they? No wonder, when it's the sensationalist view that's promoted. Average slow down rate is 30%, sure that's still a lot, but a lot less than 86%. In fact slow down rate is anywhere between 2 & 87%, and surely in our technological age this can only improve?
And so, some sites may experience erroneous blocking. Oh my gosh. There will always be teething problems with any new system but they invariably sort themselves out.
As far as suggesting that we may have an internet as oppressive as China, give us a break, please.
I will go as far as to say that the people getting hysterical about it are acting like spoilt brats. I say let's give it a go and see how it works. It'll require tweaking, but that's life!
