Yes I agree that in the correct dosages and forms, ivermectin isn't particularly dangerous. I also think that given the observational evidence (eg deployment of ivermectin in countries/cities) that it deserves to be included in controlled, clinical trials so it can be further investigated.
IMO the issue is when, for instance, people rely solely on ivermectin use.
I'm not cheering one way or the other, I'm waiting until I see what I consider to be trustworthy evidence from controlled, clinical trials.
