They are lucky to run at 50% after 12 months. Engineering on paper rarely works in real work, pumps under sized, hopper design incorrect, unexpected bottlenecks and back yard work arounds required until re design, and procurement. Ore bodies dont all act the same once exposed and can be softer or more stubborn than others.
Im going through all of this now, 2 yrs and 6 shuts later and we are still not happy with what we have to work with, but with each shut, comes improvements and whilst ever its improving then thats the main point.
