not happening IMO - not now or ever - technically speaking we have a 100KOz resource in Think Big and half of that in Mandilla so far... the rest is just "potential" for now - nothing proven... there are probably 20 projects in Australia alone with more than 1MOz confirmed that could be mined in the near future if they go through the hoops - and none of them are in the process of being taken over... by that metric alone, cannot see anyone tilting at AAR at such an early stage....
I don't want a takeover - I want to see my own AAR gold pour sometime in the next 24 months - even if it is a toll treatment arrangement...
