Not good news for manganese ore.
Chinese traders have cut prices of Mn ore by 15% to try to get rid of stock before BHP Billiton cut prices again in Q3. During the past week Mn ore has been sold at $3.8/mtu instead of $4.5/mtu as traders destock. The traders expect BHP Billiton to go below $4/mtu.
