Slowly but surely the Manganese prices are increasing. Starting to look positive for OMH, we may see some buying come back in.
China is expanding the rail network and Cambodia, Thailand and Laos all have new networks planned, railway lines need manganese.

BHPB's Price of Mn 46% Lumpy Ore Meant for China Is Again Raised
=Price is raised by US$0.05 per 1% of Mn from price notification on March 1=
According to the information source from China, BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHPB) again notified on March 12 that, as to manganese ore to be loaded in April, 2013 meant for China, the price of Mn 46% lumpy ore (GEMCO grade) has been raised again to be US$5.90 per 1% of Mn.

Although BHPB's price meant for China for April shipment was notified once on March 1, the price of Mn 46% lumpy ore at that time was US$5.85 per 1% of Mn. So, by the price being raised this time by US$0.05 per 1% of Mn, the price hike for Mn 46% lumpy ore comes to US$0.25 per 1% of Mn up from March shipment (US$5.65 per 1% of Mn). For a reference, the prices of metallurgical fine ore (Mn 48%) and South African low-grade ore (Mn 38 - 40%) for April shipment remain unchanged.

Besides, the price of ferruginous manganese ore of South African origin with Mn 42% and Fe 16% was also notified this time, and the price per 1% of Mn was US$5.20 - US$5.30.
