We are not all conspiracy theorists! Yes, stocks go up and stocks go down. But it's also a reality of the market place that stocks are manipulated in order both for trading purposes and for big boys who want to enter or exit a stock at the best price they can.
This is often done through a computer algorithm that most people refer to as bot trading. It is legal and widespread, and it is, whether you agree or not, happening with KAR.
It is short term and will not effect long term holders but it can suggest something about what the big boys view is of particular stock if you watch the way it is traded.
