booma, yes, super fund has that tax advantages. The only disadvantage, if I can put it that way, is that the fund/profit in it are locked in until when you are legally allowed to withdraw. This arrangement may suit people who don't need the cash in the meantime, but obviously does not suit those who trade for profit amd want to utilise the cash from profit occasionally for something else.
Also, super fund's investments are supposedly for long term, and the ATO usually frowns on short term trading activities.
