There was a time when the poets would write
and all who read would smile with delight
at the wordsmiths grace and art with prose
and wait for a halt or buy on the close
but the times have changed as the silence set in
all those in 'the know' have a voice that is dim
but hope springs eternal as the dollars get raised
there are those that hold tightly and never seem phased
the end game is near - what ever the result
and AIM holds the key or the shareholders revolt
there is one way to quell the anger of the masses
'give out cake' to all of the lads and the lasses
for all they had hoped for was to turn a quick buck
and many had thought they had run out of luck
but the rally will provide some relief and some selling
as the punters dive out to the sound of them yelling
'I made a fortune' on Range - it was my best stock
and to the next speccie the will gather the flock
while Range gallops higher they will look back with remorse
at what could have been if they had stayed the course
There was Oxi, and Hardman and Range they will tell
but I couldn't hold on - I just had to sell
so the story goes on - of the punters who bailed
and blame Findlays and others of the trade that had failed.
