You don't say when Hugh White had that published. I have seen other opinions from higher officials in more powerful countries that would know a lot more than Hugh White say just the opposite. I also believe that barneyw does not want a war to occur, just that it's looking more and more like it will. At a guess I'd say that none of us want WW3 to happen, not ever.Time will tell of course.
PS, it's funny to see a Martian from the dead world of Mars telling us earthlings what will or won't happen here on earth.
