Why is St Barbara being bought today? Currently up 4% on lowish volume when the rest of the ASX listed gold miners are treading water.
With the half year report due out tomorrow, are we going to get some minor improvement? They would be hard pressed to make it worse than it is, even though this group are probably the most incompetent of all gold miners.
Is the rise today, shorts trying to quietly cover? If so, are they being fed some inside information? It is entirely possible. Or maybe the shorts have just had their fill. We will see soon enough.
