Well, I did not think we would see this happening today. The decoupling of equities from the POG has been a sight to behold. If this is the result of shorting it is a dangerous game for the shorters. Should Gold hold, or rise, the elastic is likely to spring back with fury and the smell of burning shorts will be intoxicating.
