Tend to agree with you and others who have expressed opinions on this apparent price Manipulation.

After the initial Crux3 Report 3 on the 27-12-07, a few days of short-term buying exuberance.
Then 3-1-08, Report 4 and 14-1-08 Report 6, after an initial buying spurt was followed on each occasion by a calculated sell down on 'small parcels' and 'lowish' volumes.

With the confidence of the Crux3 announcements and the apparent quality of the discoveries, I would have anticipated more buying pressure. If this were Traders in action would have thought that they may have run the price up somewhat more, knowing they had good news and a couple of weeks to play this stock.

Compare this to the October 07 period when traded volumes were up after Open Briefing re: Anzon and Crux, with 3 to 5 million per day over a few days; then Crux Reserves booked on Oct. 25th with 6 million and then on the 26th 12millon traded.
Institutions were buying.

Manipulation for what benefit?
-ANZON takeover? There is still some activity with the AZA price and volumes; NXS still buying? Good or bad thing?
-ANZON or friends selling down NXS to assist the ARC takeover prospects? Possible.
-AED, dont know what to make of that 'rumor'. Market not happy? Maybe just a distraction.

-NXS, price being controlled by 'friends' for a 'would be' predator? Setting a lower average NXS price before possible annoucement? Where is STO, 'buying in' or buying us out'? :)

-Or just the Market behaving badly!

Whatever, if all of the above turns out to be 'hot air' then the Reserves re-rating stage is when the real action should take place. Best guess around April 08.
