While I have not yet read the whole IPPC report I find the heading "Mankind is the Dominant Cause of global warming"perplexing. Here are a few facts for those who do not know ;
Carbon dioxide ( Co2 )emissions by mankind for each year amount to 3.4% of total Co2 emissions...ie less than 1/40th of the total. Nature throws up the other 98.3 %.
It is estimated that of the 3.4% only 1.7% is released to the atmosphere.
By volume of all atmospheric gases mankind is deemed to contribute 0.00095% of Co2.
Put to a scale which says that a 10,000 litre tank represents the atmosphere then mankind's emissions are less than 1 litre.
Further to that since the Co2 is released over a period of one year you can think of the Co2 as the equivalent of 1 drop of water added to the tank every 3 days.
My conclusion...how could this be considered to be a dominant cause?? It is not plausible nor logical.
