Hotcopper is full of tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists - there's not much point in arguing with them unfortunately. They read a few internet articles and suddenly know more than PhD experts who have dedicated decades studying science.
They also don't appreciate that most of the decarbonisation initiatives will save money in the long-run too as it doesn't suit their agenda.
