I can and have refuted his work, what you can't do is intelligently defend it.

Nikolov/Zeller argue that it's actually only the pressure which influences the surface temperature, and that GHG are irrelevant.

To prove this they used a mathematical model that in reality only shows that the ideal gas equation works, they dismiss the GH effect without offering any evidence of an alternative explanation of the higher planetary temperature.

ie With SB we arrive at an equilibrium temperature something like this:

Their gas model is fine in that it gives a temperature based on the atmospheric pressure but offers no explanation of what drives the temperature increase above the SB value. This is why they fail the basics.

LOL, in your dreams! You seem to live in a purely radiative world, but our Earth does not operate that way, mate!
We just went through the embarrassment of you claiming that the atmosphere follows a radiative equilibrium—yet as soon as you add a touch of convective adjustments, as outlined in the Manabe and Kiehl papers (which you yourself recommended), suddenly your "radiative world" falls apart.
It is a FACT that our troposphere is convective. Are you disputing this?
Also, Venus's atmosphere does not follow a radiative feedback model. It operates under a convective/pressure-induced collisional de-excitation (CDE) mechanism. Radiative de-excitation (RDE) is not the dominant factor in Venus’s atmosphere.
