I’ve just upgraded my solar system and no it doesn’t seem to work at night lol!
None of the quotes I got recommended getting a battery due to cost and little chance of pay back over the life of the battery. I may still go ahead and get one purely because I can and there’s a chance it will be a good thing for the environment. It is at a cost, no problem for me, but to get into every home is definately prohibitive .
I suspect that doing it on a grander scale to get to zero emissions by 2050 will also be very expensive and no one in the affirmative side around here have ever been able to even approximate a cost. Great ambition and I hope we can do it but it will be at a cost and to pretend otherwise is detrimental to the cause IMO.
