this is the pathway that dictates we make the best use of expert knowledge and facts that we can and that this always takes precedence over someone’s opinion or belief.

put simply in other words, when you get cancer you go to an oncologist, not a tarot reader or a grease monkey. When you want acute scientific analysis you don’t seek out pseudoscience, you talk with a scientist. In a pandemic caused by a virus you seek out an immunologist, not a financial services intern.

this is, or should be, axiomatic.
