    "Heatwaves have become more frequent, more intense, and last longer because of human-induced climate change. The world has already warmed by about 1.1C since the industrial era began and temperatures will keep rising unless governments around the world make steep cuts to carbon emissions."



    The BBC has a standard paragraph which it attaches to any story mentioning the weather. Mostly , it's only the first sentence, but they never miss any opportunity to push their agenda. It might be "heatwaves" or "bushfires" or "cyclones" , but it's always because of "climate change".
    I suspect that the BBC may be a bit leftish, like our ABC.
