The city's water supply, Warragamba Dam reached capacity andstarted spilling over at 5.45am this morning. It has pumped 200 gigalitres downstream every single hour. That is the equivalent of 80,000 Olympic sized swimming pools. Most of that water hasn't reached flood prone low-lying areas of Sydney yet.
