every month the massive amount of data, evidence and expert analysis rolls in stemming from and supporting anthropogenic global warming and consequent climate change. Provided, not by shonky fossil fuel industry funded charlatans, but by thousands of meteorologists and other climate scientists working their professional expertise and experience.

and every month we have these legends in their own lounge room demonstrating their deep irrationality by rejecting the data, evidence and professional analysis on the basis of Because We Said So. Their sunk costs are profound and deepen monthly.

as usual NOAA's NCEI analyzes year to data, some of which is reproduced below.

Sea surface temperatures were much warmer-than-average across much of the northern and equatorial Pacific as well as the southwest Pacific. Record-warm sea surface temperatures stretched from the Caribbean Sea across the tropical Atlantic and to the northeastern Atlantic. Record warm temperatures also affected large parts of the Indian Ocean, southern Atlantic and parts of the southwestern Pacific Ocean. The most widespread areas of cooler-than-average sea surface temperatures occurred in the southeastern Pacific, southwestern Indian Ocean and parts of the Southern Ocean.
