LOL....Here we go again ...
The UK is poised for its first mini-heatwave of the year this week, with temperatures expected to soar to 21C for a glorious 48-hour spell in April. Brits are gearing up to enjoy a "mini-heatwave" as the mercury is set to rise later this week, potentially reaching highs of 21C, as forecasted by Jim Dale, the founder and senior meteorological consultant at British Weather Services.
Dale commented: "April tends to do this, it tends to get warmer as you go through it as the sun gets higher in the sky and we start to lose some of the venom of the Atlantic, although not in the next few days. There'll be more high pressure in the Midlands and south for the most part, meaning more in the way of sunshine and heat.
"He further remarked: "There's your mini-heatwave if you want to call it that." The weather guru continued: "I would suggest 20-21C in the south is about the mark, not record temperatures but at least very pleasant."
