As for your idea that fishermen only fish and have no right to comment on the marine environment, perhaps you can enlighten us on just how your work experiences qualify you as being “more of an authority” on marine ecosystems (we don’t need your specific job description just a generalisation/field of expertise).
30 years of working my patch of the Indian Ocean doesn’t qualify me for a degree but it does give me a sight more observational experience/knowledge than a Trolley Pusher working at Coles.
